Origins of Christianity.

• The origin of Christian missionary began in the 13th century.

• Christianity emerged in the levant in the mid 1st century AD.

• Christianity spread initially from throughout the Near East, into place such as Aram, Assyrian, Egypt and other part of the world.

• They used the holy Bible as the criterion .

Origins of Islam • Islam began in the 7th

century with the rebuilding of Muhammad life after his death.

• Islam rely on affirmation to Abrahamic religion that believe in single God.

• Islam make used of Quran as their direction of the Muslim.

• They accept the fact that Allah Reveal to Muhammad orally through Angel Gabriel.

Five pillars of Islam• Declaration of faith. Muslim bear witness that there is no god,

but God; They bear witness that Muhammad is the prophet of God.by itemize this, one enters Islamic faith.

• Prayer: Muslims are required to pray five times a day and facing in the direction of Mecca during praying.

• Charity: Muslims are required to give away a percentage of their earnings to those less fortunate,regardless of their religion.

• Fasting: Muslims fast for one lunar month each year,a period called Ramadan. While this time, Muslims emulate( reflect) on their behavior and strive to purify their thoughts.

• Pilgrimage: mulga Muslims are required to travel to Mecca once in their lifetime.

What is the Islamic motivation?.

• 1) A portion of the Koran states that once a land has been conquered for Allah, it must remain an Islamic land. The Arabs conquered the land and city in the Middle Ages when they drove the Crusaders out. They now feel compelled by the Koran to reconquer it.

• The re-establishment of the state of Israel is viewed by Muslim clerics as a judgment of God upon the Arab peoples for their lack of faithfulness to Islam. They must redeem themselves from this judgment by returning to the fundamentals of Islam and then, having been spiritually revived, Allah will empower them to regain both the land and the city.

• Arabs believe that their control of Jerusalem and its Temple Mount will certify their superiority over both Judaism and Christianity.

• This kind of thinking cannot be reasoned with, it cannot be appeased, it cannot be bargained with. Such hatred is evil and Satanically motivated in origin.

Similarity between Christianity and Islam.

• Both Christianity and believe In prophets, God's messenger revelation scripture and the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

• Both Islam and Christianity believes in one God, the supreme one, who created Heaven and Earth.

• Both Islam and Christianity believe that Satan is devil.

• Both Christianity and Islam aspect the fact that Jesus of Nazareth.

• They all recognized the figure of Abraham as a great father of faiths.

• They are look to an end time when the God lawfulness, justice and power will triumph

• Both believe in Virgin birth of Jesus Christ.• Christian seen Jesus as the messiah, he is alive not

died and the only son of God, while Islam view Jesus Christ as the great prophet and the son of marry, the only woman mentioned by name in Quran.

• They believed that Christ will coming again by moving down from heaven and reward everybody accord to their works.

Different between Christianity and Islam

• Christian believe in the trinity, the father, the son and Holy Spirit. While Islam Seen God as one Allah

• They celebrate different holiday, Christian celebrate Christmas ( celebration of the birth of Jesus)' and good Friday ( death of Jesus). While Islam, they celebrated Ramadan( month of fasting) and Eid- Ul - Adha

• Christian believe that Jesus Christ rise up from the death after three day of his crucifixion or burial. While. Islam, believe that Jesus didn't die but he was rise bodily to Heaven by God.

• In Christianity salvation mean achieved through conduct prayer and good faith alone in Jesus Christ . While in Islam. Salvation is the way of good deed and observe the five pillars.

• Islam are more war against all other religious in the world. While Christianity have none violence against any religious practice in the world.

Ethics and morality in Islam and Christianity

• They believes in one God and it set out as the bedrock of their faith

• Both lay abundant and enormous intensity and emphasis on quality, Justice,righteousness,and commiserate as their criterion principle for their enthusiast and devotee.

• Both feel necessity for generosity and the mannerly treatment of those in needs.

• Both say this,God accommodate forgiveness than looking for retaliation for another's person action

• In Mathew 5.6&7 Jesus says," you have heard that it was said , you shall not commit adultery; but I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery. While

• Quran 17:32 says " and do not near unlawful sexual intercourse ,indeed it is ever an abomination and it evil as a way"

• Christian ethics focused on the teaching of the holy bible.

• Islam ethic focused on the interpretation and understanding of the humanity which have acknowledged by God's will.
