On behalf of our high-profile client in the Lower Mainland,Ignite Technical Resources is looking for a HR
Systems Analyst - PeopleSoft for a 4 month contract opportunity.
The successful candidate will provide functional HR system expertise, support and analytical services to
HR and other departments. You will be reporting to the Senior HR Systems Specialist.
Duties:
Collaborates with managers and senior leaders to assess and proactively plan for their system-
based information requirements
Research and make recommendations for system expansion and enhancements
Provides system-based analytical services, metrics, reports and other information to address
regular needs on a range of complex issues
Creates system set-up data, configures tables, develops complex queries, and performs user
acceptance testing to ensure requirements are addressed.
Provides user perspective when collaborating with other departments on HR systems
troubleshooting, upgrades, enhancements and other related projects.
Develop user specifications, overseeing functional testing, production signoff, and participating
in implementations
Performs HR system maintenance and application changes to ensure data integrity, running and
reviewing system audit reports, identifying flags, and liaising with others to ensure corrective
action
Carries out manual review and statistical analysis to foster data integrity.
Leads non-complex User Acceptance Testing of HRIS modifications and updates under general
direction and provides feedback and input to Information Systems staff
Assists with maintaining and updating systems setup data and tables.
Uses PeopleSoft query to provide data as necessary to satisfy audit requirements.
Administers HR system security, including set-up and granting of user access. Involves creating,
modifying and deleting user roles, permissions and related security roles, sometimes in
collaboration with IT security staff. Maintains diligent standards, records, and rationale for
conditions of use.
Creates, maintains and updates functional documentation and guidelines for system users,
providing guidance in the analysis of data and coordinating related training as needed.

Someone who understands income statements, balance sheets and cash flows and how they fit together. Extensive experience working with disparate systems and improving processes to streamline workflow. Experience with Anaplan and NetSuite is a plus. Experience forecasting a full P&L, with a deep understanding of revenue recognition. Manage multiple priorities and switch between tasks relatively easily. Time and priority management is extremely important in this role. Very strong Excel skills (experience with Macros a plus). You will be adept at utilizing various systems for data query and reporting to drive high quality analysis. Experience in the gaming industry and/or statistical analysis is highly desirable.
