• Grow up to 8 feet long• Live 10 to 16 years• Most challenging fish to catch• Adult Bigeye Tuna can dive

deeper than 1640 feet

• Large, fast and excellent swimmers• Gills are 30X larger and heart is 10X larger then other fish• Feed on cephalopods and crustaceans• Preyed by larger billfish and toothed whales• Spawn twice a year during a full moon in tropical waters• Release more then 2.9 million to 6.3 million eggs each time• Small bigeye tuna found at the surface• Adults found in deep water
