You should never be afraid to ask questions if

questions will save you tons of time and energy and will also help

you to be more engaged with projects that you are working on,

since you understand what you are working on.

If you

find yourself having downtime at work, you should reach out to

your manager to see if there is more work that you can take off of

their plate. They may be totally busy and can probably really use

your help. Asking for more projects that you may be able to help

out with and this initiative will also show that you have a lot of

drive and that you are very motivated.

Make the most of working with seasoned

movers and shakers in the industry. It's a good idea to ask your

boss, internship director, or other if you can meet with them for

30 minutes to have an informal touch base about any questions

that you now have since you've been an intern at the company

for a while. You can even invite them to grab coffee if their

schedule permits.

serious about your new gig is to spend all of your downtime

checking your email and your Facebook updates. Doing so is

definitely not going to get your anywhere good in your career.

together actually become good friends since they met early in

their careers. You never know where you will end up working

later on in life.
