DESCRIPTION
Ever wonder why if universal design is just good design most builders don't do it? The simple answer is cost. A key component of universal design is having a zero-step entry into the home. Unfortunately, making it happen generally requires more excavation and concrete work, which gets pricey. See a side-by-side comparison of a zero-step entry and a traditional step-up entry.
