When it happens to you, being prepared can make the situation much easier to deal with. But how can you prepare for something that has the potential to devastate?

First of all, think of a rejection as a positive thing in your life. If the person isn’t really interested in you in the first place, then the relationship is doomed from the start. Although rejection can sometimes be a hard pill to swallow, you shouldn’t allow it to be a big blow to your ego. Instead, think of your being rejected as a bright step to the future. There are only great things that are to come when you are rejected. Don’t take it personally, and continue having all of the fun that you can in your life. It will all pay off in the end.
