The one simple rule to help you sell more online

How do your customers find you?

They….

1. Make a search (this is the customer in “Text mode”)

2. Click on a picture (and now the customer is in “Image mode”)

3. Land on your product page (Text and Image modes)

And then what happens?

They….

1. Click the “back button” (why would they click back?)wrong product, too much information, too little, lack of extra images, poorly laid out product information

2. They make a “secondary action” ( like, watch, add to wishlist )Amazon has like & wishlist, eBay has watch list (and a wish list), how can you facilitate action this rather than loosing the sale?

3. Or “Buy” (why would they buy?)Does your description clear show, when the product will be with the customer, how much is postage, what method is used and if there is a problem is your returns policy simple?
