CHARACTERISTICS
• Strong and tear resistant.
• Flexible - poly tarp is basically a sheet of coated fabric.
• Water resistant or waterproof.
• Reinforced with eyelets as attachmnent points for rope
• U V protection
• Arctic flexibility - most poly tarps function well at freezing
temperatures.
• Mildew resistant
POLY TARPS ARE USUALLY THE LEAST EXPENSIVE TYPE OF TARPS AND MOST WIDELY USED.
LDPE OR HDPE FILMS ARE USED FOR BOTH SIDE LAMINATION OF PE FABRICS TO PRODUCE POLY TARP.
THE THICKNESS OF THE LAMINATION FILM VARIES FROM 40 MICRONS TO 1500 MICRONS
WIDTH FROM 1 M TO 13.5 M.
LAMINATION FILM FOR POLY TARP
Good tensile and tear strength
better optical clarity.
Dimensionally stable under varied climatic/temperature
conditions.
Tolerate temperatures variations ranging from -70°F to 165°F.
Offers excellent chemical resistance to Acids, Alkalies,
Fungi/Bacteria & Grease; do not corrode metals, is odourless
and tasteless.
LAMINATION FILM CHARACTERISTICS
CONTAINS NO PLASTICISER AND DO NOT BECOME BRITTLE WITH TIME AND USE.
RESISTANT TO ULTRA-VIOLET RAYS
LIGHT WEIGHT
EASY OF HANDLING & TRANSPORTATION.
WATER PROOF, DUE TO WHICH IT IS IMPERMEABLE TO LIQUIDS AND IS UNAFFECTED BY HUMIDITY.
