Talent assessment is first step towards identifying and grooming leadership pipeline in an organization.

A well thought out assessment plan helps in analyzing skill gaps, identifying high potential and creating

ASSESSMENT/ DEVELOPMENT CENTER

Catalyst specializes in developing and designing competency based development centre to analyze

skill gaps and identify high potential. Catalyst Development Center is designed to provide unique

opportunity to its participants to experience self awareness, group behaviour and performance

effectiveness through intense, engaging and fun filled exercises.

• Engaging and Fun Filled pattern: The DC is designed in a way that promotes self exploration and

self awareness in an engaging and enjoyable manner. So while they go through intensive learning,

• Specialized panel of assessors : DC consists of a panel of assessors comprising of psychologists,

GROW 360 DEGREES

GROW 360 degrees is an employee development tool which aims to provide feedback from multiple

stakeholders with whom the employee has a direct working relationship.

The tool consists of a survey questionnaire based on the behavioral competencies identified by the

organization as critical for superlative performance in a given role and provides detailed individual

feedback on each competency.

The tool guarantees anonymity, eliminates bias, supports customization and provides control over

survey monitoring, messaging, communication etc. It is simple and flexible to administer and easy to

implement.

PSYCHOMETRIC TESTING

Psychometric tests are a standard and scientific method used to measure individuals' mental

capabilities, behavioural style and other hidden attributes like personality, attitudes, preferences,

intelligence etc. Catalyst has a host of certifications in some of the most powerful psychometric tools

which can be used for employee selection, personality assessment, training and development, career

progression, team building etc.

• DiSC Profiling - Thomas International People Assessment license and certification – Based on

Martson’s theory of ‘Emotions of normal People’ DiSC characterizes four patters of interaction

between an individual and his environment – Dominance, Influence, Submission, Compliance

• Myers-Briggs Typology Indicator – MBTI is world’s most trusted and widely used personality

assessment tool which helps people understand themselves and their interaction with others

• Hogan Assessments – Hogan Assessment system creates high value predictive assessments

that are directly related to job performance and organization bottom line

• Personality and Preference Inventory – PAPI is a leading work related personality assessment

used to evaluate behaviour and preferred work styles of individuals.

The Core Team

Priti Agarwal

Priti is a versatile professional with interests ranging from sales, consulting, business development,

learning and development and building organizational capability. She founded the Catalyst in 2009 with

the dream of offering unique skill enhancement opportunities to individuals across various kinds of

institutions and organizations at various levels. Her interest in people development started very early in

her career, even before the entrepreneurial bug bit her, when as a sales manager and a leader at HUL,

she pioneered and rolled out various learning forums for her team. She continued to mentor and coach

peers and subordinates in her role as a strategy consultant at Accenture. The journey of self

actualization for self and others continues unabated as she passionately believes that learning is the

only path to progress – both personally and professionally. She spends considerable amount of time

enhancing her own skills as a facilitator and assessor through various certifications, webinars and

coming up with new strategies and approaches to develop effective and engaging learning techniques .

She has conducted a number of consulting projects, assessment centers and training programs on

sales effectiveness, leadership, communication, team building, time management etc. with various

clients and locations.

Priti is an MBA from XLRI and an economics graduate from St Stephen’s college, Delhi

University. Apart from pursuing her dream (The Catalyst), Priti loves to spend time with her kids and

read books across various subjects.

Shivani Manchanda

Shivani Manchanda is a dynamic, accomplished and client driven professional offering extensive

experience in Business Development, strategy , finance and operations. She combines her clear

thought process with pragmatic approach to offer innovative, impactful and unique sulotion. Shivani

serves as a partner to The Catalyst.

She has spearheaded Catalyst into customized Assessment center and training programs for

various institutional and corporate clients. She is Myers- Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) certified and has

facilitated several workshops and one to one coaching sessions basis the psychometric tool.

Before taking the plunge into her own venture, she has spent over 7 years of experience

with global consulting giants like Ernst and Young, Delliote Haskins and sells and American express,

where she has led several assignment on Policy review and compliance, Business analysis, USGAAP

& IGAPP audits, IFRS Reporting, Sox Compliance etc. She is a B. Com (Hons ) graduate from Punjab

University and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Ranita Ghosh

Ranita is a result focused and passionate HR professional with over 10 years’ diverse experience with

FMCG & ITES organizations. She has keen interest in people development which she actively pursues

by following a consultative solution based approach in delivering OD & training interventions that create

value for organizations while leveraging people’s performance and potential. THE CATALYST offers

her a platform to do both through its unique philosophy.

She has huge expertise in leading HR transformation initiatives in area of key account setups,

transitions, org restructuring and implementation of HR processes and systems for various business

verticals. She has led several initiatives focussing on employee engagement, talent management and

capability development resulting in consistently top scores on engagement and HR scorecard metrics

for the businesses she led. Ranita has also spearheaded various Leadership development and change

management interventions helping create engaged and empowered teams.

Ranita has done her MBA in HR from Symbiosis Centre for Management & HRD and BA

Honors in Economics from Delhi University. She also holds a certification in Lominger’s universally

acclaimed Leadership & Choices Architect®.

Rashmi Priya

Rashmi is a solution oriented and customer focused professional who truly believes that ‘the biggest

success lies in discovering and nurturing one’s true talents’. This belief has led to a keen interest in

identifying, developing and shaping people and their potential to achieve optimum performance and

productivity. She strives to bring out the best in them by leveraging her expertise in multiple areas like

competency based talent interventions, assessing and enhancing team, manager, employee

effectiveness, developing creative, enagaging learning content and impactful OD projects . She has a

grounding in Intervention Design and Facilitation Skills which she uses to help clients discover

innovative solutions and experience transformational learning and growth.

Before taking the giant leap to follow her passion, she spent over 7 years in multinational

organizations like Genpact and Sapient where she performed as an accomplished HR professional with

wide variety of experience in various HR domains like Employee Relations, Employee Engagement,

Talent Management and Learning and Development.

Rashmi is an MBA in HR from XLRI Jamshedpur

Mr Shyam Vishwanathan

Mr Vishwanathan is an Electrical Engineer and an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies of

Delhi University. He has 30 years of experience in configuring and delivering solutions to large

corporations in India, W. Europe, Asia Pacific as well as the United States in areas as diverse as

Process Design, Knowledge Management and Technology Based Training.

He has been a consultant and professor in the areas of Strategy, Leadership, Change Management,

Personal Effectiveness and High Performance Team Building. He is also a Subject Matter Expert with

SHRM, India.

He has been the Dean of Executive Education at the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. He has led

the design and delivery of Leadership Development initiatives for more than 60 different organizations

in the United States, Europe and Asia.

He also works with the CEOs of large, medium and small organizations – to help them create profitable

organizations that leverage strong Values Based Leadership to attain Business Leadership.

Apart from having been on the Board of Directors of organizations based in India and the United States

– he is on the Advisory Board of pioneering institutions such as the School of Inspired Leadership and

the School for Leadership Excellence.

Dr. Nitender Dhillon

Dr Dhillon has Doctorate (Fellowship in Management) from IIM, A with specialization in Finance and

Accounting. He is currently working as a freelance consultant with large MNC's and domestic

companies.

He has previously taught at Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon and XLRI,

Jamshedpur.

He has been involved as a faculty and as director for several management development and need

based in-company training programs in Finance. The programs have been conducted for several

leading private and public sector organizations in India and abroad. These programs have given him

exposure to several industries. The topics have ranged from Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting,

Corporate Finance and Capital Market Behavior.

His consulting work has covered various organizations in the areas of financial analysis, product

pricing and performance evaluation, restructuring and bench marking. He has jointly developed a

business simulation game, which is extensively used in corporate training as well as in the conduct of

the national management games for the All India Management Association. He has been on The

Editorial Board Journal Of Applied Corporate Finance, (ICFAI) and presented papers in international

workshops, symposiums and conferences on capital markets, financial sector, curriculum development.

Mr Rattan Chugh

Mr Chugh is the founder of Cornerstone Wealth Management, a fast growing financial services company.

Before establishing Cornerstone he was the country head for Fidelity International’s business in India. Joining Fidelity at the start-up stage, he was instrumental in developing Fidelity's large offshore centre and its successful domestic asset management business. He has also been on the board of Fidelity Fund Management and other Fidelity group companies in India. He has held several key positions in the financial services industry. His work experience of 20 years' spans globally renowned companies

like American Express Bank, TATA and EDS, in Strategy, Management, Technology, Operations, Business Development and Merger & Integration.

He brings his immense experience as an entrepreneur and as the ex- CEO at Fidelity International to the OMP. He is an expert in the area of Execution who enables the participants to gain insights on the key issues of execution of strategy, time management, Business Acumen (a highly interactive workshop on understanding Finance)

Ms Rachna Chawla

Ms Chawla is a seasoned leadership and change facilitator/ coach working with corporate & social enterprise. She is a specialist in designing and delivering adult learning programs across domains with a focus on personal and organizational leadership. She has the ability to diagnose, design, and deliver to a variety of client groups – large corporates, small and medium business, the social sector, education and women leaders. She has several years of experience across sectors including banking, consulting, education, energy, engineering, FMCG, infrastructure, IT, retail, social enterprise, & telecom. She has managed and delivered client engagements across geographies & cultures including India, Pakistan, Russia, North Africa, the Middle East and Singapore. Rachna is an associate Coach/ Faculty with CCL, Mercer and The HayGroup.

Ms Upasana Kaila

Upasana is an HR consultant and facilitator. Led by the desire to serve and learn, she enjoys exploring

avenues for growing organizations and people through positive organization development.

She has around 11 years of experience in HR, Organization Development and Learning & Performance

in areas including process / program design and implementation, performance management, training

designing, facilitation, leadership development, coaching and competency mapping, assessment and

development in regional and global roles. She has worked in the IT, ITES, Health Care and Non Profit

sectors in India and the US, in organizations including Accenture, IBM, Hackensack University Medical

Center, New Jersey and ITC Infotech.

She is a certified Global Professional in Human Resources by the Society of Human Resource

Management and Human Resources Certification Institute and a Certified Professional in Learning &

Performance by the American Society of Training Development. She is also Myers Briggs Type

Indicator (MBTI) certified and a Certified Facilitator of the DiSC Classic 2.0.

Mr Madhur Upadhyay

He is a facilitator and trainer. He is guided by his calling to inspire, explore and serve. Professionally it

has led him to be engaged in creating, executing and measuring organizational capability and people

processes whose intent has been appreciative and transformative for others and his own self.

He has 11 years of experience in HR, Training & Development, M&A and Quality in India and the US in

regional and national roles. He has worked in IT, Analytics and Manufacturing organizations.

He is certified in Competency Assessment by SHL, GPHR by SHRM - Human Resources Certification

Institute, Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and Personality & Preference Inventory (PAPI).

Ms Aditi Kumar

Aditi is an internationally trained Executive Coach. She has completed the ICT Programme from

Results Coaching Systems, Australia. She is also certified in the implementation & interpretation of

Hogan Assessment Systems - a global leader in personality assessment that predicts job performance

by measuring normal personality, derailment characteristics & core values.

Before making a switch to Learning & Development 3 years back, she was associated with the

corporate world in various marketing & business development roles. She has worked across industries-

publishing, advertising and IT where she has conceptualized & executed various marketing led

communication programs.

She holds a postgraduate degree in Mass Comm from Symbiosis Institute of Media & Communication,

Pune. She enjoys reading, travelling, photography & music.
