Building a narrative? The narrative to my stop motion animation is of a man in jail and wanting to escape.

The parts I found difficult were :

1.Building the set to fit purpose of story but also for it to fit in the camera at all times

2.Getting all my resources as I didn’t have enough or the ones I needed so I had to buy them

How did you decide what to use?

Vs.

I was going to use play dough after watching all the videos on YouTube but when I went into modeling the characters I struggled and they wouldn’t hold. After a while I decided to change to change to Lego as it was easier to use and stayed in its position through out.

How many ideas did you have?My first idea for my stop motion animation was to do break dancing but found that it was involving too many movements and was out of my league.

From here I decided to do an escape after watching the program ‘Prison Break’

Were there any limitations?

The Weather was the main influence due to the sun coming in and out of the clouds. This effected my animation due to flicker of light as I was outside.

I needed to go round and collect my pieces as I didn’t have all the Lego I needed. This took time.
