Adhering the Base Removing the Protective Cover
Inserting the Needle/ Cannula
Remove the adhesive tape backing.Apply the base to the skin and press �rmly for a few seconds. Press around all the exposed adhesive tape edges.
Remove the inserter's protective safety cover by using the notch at the top for resistance while simultaneously and with one motion pulling it straight o�. Note that the cover should be easily separated from the inserter itself.
4. Removing the Inserter
Press in �rmly and completely the large trigger button at the side of the inserter . You will hear a clicking sound as you do so.
Pinch in the small buttons at each end of the inserter base. This releases the insertion device lock enabling you to remove and discard the inserter which now contains the retracted needle. Check for the presence of the cannula cap at thecenter of the inserter base before attaching the tubing connector to the base.
