• Consider:- • Do your skills match the requirements of the job? • Are there specific examples when you demonstrated skills
& experiences required by this job? • Can your achievements be measured & quantified?
#2 - “What is your biggest weakness?”
• Consider:- • Strengths and weaknesses are 2 parts of the same coin. • Can your weakness be described as a strength? • Would your weakness be a “positive” for the job you want?
#3 – “Where do you expect to be in 5
years time?”
• Consider:- • How does this job feature into your long-term plan? • What are natural progressions within your chosen career? • Are there growth opportunities within this organisation?
#4 – “Have you ever had a bad experience with an employer?”
• Consider:- • This is an opportunity to “think on your feet”. • Can you re-frame the question? • How do you respond under pressure?
#5 – “Would you give an example of
your lateral thinking?”
• Consider:- • When you solved a problem in an innovative way? • Was your solution practical? • How did you go about executing it?
