Objective of the site visit

Exploring the surroundings of a construction site

Understanding the teamwork of a building team

Importance of safety in the construction site

Recognise the building materials used in the construction site

Project details

In every construction site, there must be a signboard that states the company name of

the construction team.

Site observations

Overview of the site

Notice and approval papers placed on the main enterence of the construction site

Scafolding and nettings around the exterior of the building

BRC and timber located beside the building or futher use

Ground floor of the building with scafoldings at the middle

Workers in a construction site without helmet

Ball pile can be seen at the basement of the building

Starter bars for continuation of the next section

Rebar placed for the divider at the ramp

Shutter space waiting for installation for safety purposes

Conclusion

Lastly, I want to thank the safety and health officer which is S.A. Jivanatham from

Encorp Construct SDN BHD and Ms. Ang to let us explore on the things in a

construction site. This site visit has given me a better understanding of the building

materials and the idea of measurements for my studies.
