OVERVIEW Retailers agree to set aside

nonperishable and perishable products for donations to a Feeding America member

or a member agency.

Agencies associated with the program are selected by the FB based upon the

following criteria:• Location• Schedule• Quantity

• Distribution

AGENCY PICKUP PROCESS

Procedure:Agency picks up on predetermined

schedule.Make sure the driver has identification

available.Check in with the receiving clerk or

manager for donations from each department.

Gather product, weigh/collect, and clear product with the clerk.

Equipment:Use clean truck/van to pick up the

product.Utilize storage bins, pallets, or coolers

to transport the product.

Product Placement:Separate product by category and implement proper
