Simple but true to its core. It can be easy to get caught up in the moment to moment movements of the market, but it is vitally important to step back to see the greater picture – what is the trend of the market and are we working with it or against it.

"The market can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent" - The way the market reacts to certain news or events may not seem rational at times, but there is no sense in trying to fight the market - it moves where it moves and does not have one morsel of conscience about your opinion on it.
