DESCRIPTION
You may have a crisis in your Home Based Business that threatens the future economic viability of your business. The Three Little Pigs have a crucial lesson for us. The three little pigs left the safe shelter of their mother to explore the world outside on their own. They enjoyed their freedom. It was summer. Food and friends were available everywhere. What a feast. They believed the feast would last forever. There is no need to plan for the future. Life is one big pleasure without any responsibility or need to provide for a rainy day. As the rainy autumn weather hit them, they realized that they need a home, food and that they will have to work in order to survive, just as everybody else was doing. They were not used to it and not prepared for the rainy season.

Learn About Crisis Management
From The Three Little Pigs For
Your Home Based Business
You may have a crisis in your Home Based Business that
threatens the future economic viability of your business.
The Three Little Pigs have a crucial lesson for us.
The three little pigs left the safe shelter of their mother
to explore the world outside on their own. They enjoyed
their freedom. It was summer. Food and friends were available everywhere.
What a feast.
They believed the feast would last forever. There is no need to plan for the future. Life
is one big pleasure without any responsibility or need to provide for a rainy day.
As the rainy autumn weather hit them, they
realised that they need a home, food and that
they will have to work in order to survive, just
as everybody else was doing. They were not
used to it and not prepared for the rainy
season.
They had a crisis. They did not realise that
autumn comes regularly, every twelve months.
The careless life of summer, sunshine,
abundance of food, no need to save or plan for
a rainy day, or for a shelter would come to an
end.
Learn About Crisis Management From The Three Little
Pigs For Your Home Based Business
These three little pigs had three different ways of solving their problems:
• The rst pig did not think and was very lazy. His
main aim was to get a shelter, not taking anything
else into consideration or doing proper planning.
He follows the quick, easy solution that required
the least of effort to solve his problem, according to
his view. Because he was lazy, he did not take
everything into consideration in solving his
problem. He went for a quick x. He built his
home with straw.
• The second pig did more planning, was not as lazy,
and put more effort into solving his problem. He
built his house with wood. It took longer to build.
He had to work harder. He did more planning in
the building of his house.
These three little pigs had
three different ways of
solving their problems:
• The third or wise pig built his house
with bricks. He had patience, did
proper planning and worked hard for
many days to build his house. He
built his house properly and worked
hard while his brothers were doing
nothing. Maybe they teased him
because he was putting too much
time and effort into his house. He
had the patience and willingness to
work hard in order to build a strong
structure that can protect him for any
eventuality.
The hungry, angry wolf was looking for food. He approached the
straw house of the rst pig. The wolf threatened the pig and told
him to come out of the house. The pig did not want to. The wolf
blew and the house collapsed. The pig escaped to the house of his
brother. This was the second pig whose house was built from wood.
The wolf told the two pigs to come out of their house. They did not
obey his orders. The wolf destroyed this house also. Both of them
escaped to the house of the third pig with the brick house.
Needless to say, the pigs did not obey the orders of the wolf to get
out of the house and the wolf was not able to destroy their house.
The three pigs were safe.
The pig that had built his
house with bricks saved
the lives of his brothers.
During the summer, everything was going well. They had no problems
and they enjoyed themselves.
In the Home Based Business concern, you will have periods when you
make big bucks and when everything is going well. There is no need to
plan for a rainy day. The Home Based Business owner believes that this is normal; it will be like
this forever. No need to plan for a rainy day.
• The pigs made a big mistake. They were caught unawares and they were not prepared for the
rainy day.
• The nature of any business is that there are cycles.
• Bad times do not last forever. Good times do not last forever either.
• The important point is that you have to keep on working on improving your business during
the good times. Prepare for the bad times either through saving money or through investing
money and put extra efforts into the business to improve it to be more competitive during the
rainy season or bad times.
The Main Lessons For The Home Based Business Owner In The Fairy Tale are:
• The rst lazy pig did not think or plan, he implemented the
easiest plan where the least work was involved.
• The third or wise pig did it properly. He planned, he
thought about the alternative solutions to the problem,
found the best one, and he was willing to work and implement it correctly.
• The end result was that his extra efforts secured not only his life; he was able to help
and save the lives of the other two pigs.
• Good planning, proper implementation of the plans, not just implementing the rst
plan but nding the best plan, the willingness to work hard and do your best and
walking the extra mile will help to secure the future of your Home Based Business.
Do not take shortcuts, especially not during a crisis.
The Second Main Issue Is How We
React If The Crisis Strikes The Business
It is not a question of if you will encounter crises in your Home Based Business, but
rather when. If a crisis strikes your business, remember the lessons learnt from the wise
third pig. You must be a wise Home Based Business owner and learn from the story.
