Frederick Festus Ntido is a Senior Associate in the Corporate/Commercial Group specializing in Nigerian Content law, maritime, company securities, banking, telecoms and aviation law.

Frederick has been involved in providing legal advice to multinational companies in diverse areas of the law including regulatory, corporate compliance and transactional issues. He also advised the Federal Government of Nigeria during the Port Concession Programme as legal counsel to the Nigerian Ports Authority and he is actively involved in providing legal advice to several institutional and private establishments. He regularly advises multinational and indigenous clients doing business in Nigeria on compliance with local content legislations relating to the Cabotage Act and the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Act. He also represents clients before the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board and other regulatory agencies.

Proven oil reserves in West Africa have grown have grown by nearly 120% from 57 billion barrels in 1980 to 124 billion barrels in 2012. However, the OSV operating environment in these countries poses quite a number of challenges. From security risk to lack of infrastructure and qualified crew, and Local Content, challenges are aplenty.

How can you comply and be able to mitigate risk of operating in this high-growth yet challenging region to achieve a balance of risk and reward? Join us at the 2nd Annual OSV Africa to learn more!

“The speaker lineup and delegation was one of a kind, I would definitely return next year.” Jerry Tromans, CFO, Petro-Services Congo

The OSV Africa Conference was hugely successful last year in showcasing market opportunities and case studies of OSV operations. It provided an excellent networking venue to collaborate and hear from peers, business partners and customers.

“I was able to get updated on the very latest industry activity, thanks to the excellent presentations!” Capt. Reidar Roed, Managing Director, UOS United Offshore Support
