Suzzanne Uhland draws on more than two decades of experience in the legal profession as a partner at O’Melveny & Myers LLP. In addition to working at the international law firm’s Newport Beach, California, and San Francisco offices, Suzzanne Uhland chairs O’Melveny & Myers’ US Restructuring Practice. In 2013, the firm reported its most profitable year to date and expanded its team of skilled attorneys.

In May of 2013, Peter M. Friedman joined O’Melveny & Myers at its Washington, DC office. A former partner at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft, he moved to the firm along with his colleagues John J. Rapisardi and George A. Davis, former cochairs of Cadwalader’s Global Financial Restructuring Department. Both Rapisardi and Davis assumed responsibilities as global co-practice group leaders in O’Melveny & Myers’ Restructuring Group.

The firm and its three new partners have served several common clients in the past and now work together to guide them through the processes of restructuring, bankruptcy, distressed transactions, and various other corporate matters. Friedman, Rapisardi, and Davis have provided legal counsel to businesses in several different industries, including energy, transportation, finance, and health care. In addition, the attorneys have served the federal government, representing the Presidential Task Force and the US Treasury Department during the bankruptcy litigation for Chrysler and General Motors.
