Océ around the world
6
It all started with our Intranet
In 2004: many local intranets, diversity in look and feel not connected, URL unknown, no global search locally supported
So no corporate messaging, nor sharing of information
“If Océ only knew what Océ knows”
7
The future as seen then
One intranet for all
1. start with uniform design and navigation and get rid of all the local ones
2. next versions to deal with global document management, workflows and collaboration
8
Our intranet – step 1
From local to global
9
Life before the crisis
Roll out to other countries Changes and improvements in the current version Requirements for next version Set up project management organization for the
intranet (hiring experts) Set up business, technical and
support teams ….
