Wind Up, world's smallest car

Wind Up is the world’s smallest car.

It has been designed by Perry Watkins of Germany.

It just 41 inches high, 51 inches long and only 26 inches wide the mini always finds a parking space.

It can be driven at the speed of 60 kph and even has security belts.

Skoda's SUV Yeti to hit Indian roads for Rs 17 lakh

THE Czech car maker Skoda Auto will launch its sports utility vehicle, Yeti, at a price of around Rs 17 lakh.

Yeti will be powered by diesel engine and will have six airbags.

Skoda Auto has customized the vehicle for the Indian market by improving the suspension to meet the harsh road conditions across the country.

Agro Tech sells Rath brand to Cargill

Agro Tech Foods had sold off its Rath Vanaspati brand to edible oils maker Cargill.

Agro Tech Foods is looking to sharpen focus on high-margin value-added products.

The brands in the company’s portfolio include Sundrop, Act II, Crystal, NutraLite, GoldLite and FreshLite, Sundrop peanut butter and Snack Break pudding.

Titan to gold plate a Nano, expand jewellery chain

Titan, which owns the Goldplus chain of jewellery, has decided to gold plate one Nano, as part of its campaign to celebrate 5,000 years of Indian jewellery.

Goldplus jewellery retail chain is focused on rural and tier II markets.

The company will be adding five more Goldplus outlets this year to take the total number to 34 outlets across six states.

Coal India in talks to buy US minesCoal India, the world’s largest coal producer, is

in talks to acquire mines from two US companies, Peabody Energy and Massey Energy.

The company, which last month raised $3.4 billion in the nation’s biggest-ever initial public offering, has near-mossssnopoly control of India’s coal market.

Peabody Energy has 9 billion tonnes of reserves. Massey Energy accounted for 20% of United States coal production in 2007.
