How to Unleash Your Hidden Greatness With Network Marketing Business Events

Today we’re going to keep it short and talk about the power of events in your network marketing business.

There is something magical about events. I’m actually going to be heading to an event and jumping on an airplane right after this.

So I want to touch just really quickly on what events can do for you and your business. Events are magical in a sense because they can do so much for you and your team. They literally can take you from nothing, to getting a deeper vision and belief in yourself and your business.  

I’ve been to a lot of events at this point. There is something special about how you can see and interact with people in real life. You can showcase what certain talents are doing for the overall organization; how they inspire and help people. That’s what events can really do for you.   I challenge you to go to the next event, wherever that is.

I’m going to an empower event in Chicago. I just found out there is going to be some flash flooding going on. Ultimately it doesn’t matter. I’m still going to get on a plane and make it out there, because I have a commitment to myself and the team to make it to those events.

If you really want to transform your business on a much bigger scale, then you have to go to events.

I’ll tell you from personal experience, when I was going to school at UC Santiago, I wasn’t really sure of myself. There was an event going on in Detroit Michigan, and I was all the way in Santiago. I didn’t know how I was going to get there.

I barely had enough money to pay for tuition and college expenses. You know what I had to do? I had to go out there every morning at 7:00am and pass out flyers and campaigns for different types of bills and propositions. You had to get so many sheets filled to get a certain dollar value back.

Imagine going up to complete strangers and saying, “Are you knowledgeable about this bill? Will you sign this petition?” I had to do this day after day, week after week just to get enough money to attend my first event.

Once I went through the process though, it was really worth it. My mentors and coaches told me it would be absolutely worth it, but at that point I wasn’t sure. I didn’t have the vision yet of what was going to happen at the event. Or what I was going to be able to see and experience there. At that point I was kind faltering. Ultimately, every morning I would have the same thought; is it going to be worth it?

A part of it is just being a little audacious. It’s taking reins of your business and telling yourself that if everyone is telling me it’s something important and influential; I have to do it. All the leaders are going there, so I might as well do what I need to do in order to make it there. I don’t want to be in this situation again where I can’t afford a $400 plane ticket.

I went to that event and got completely blown away. I made a decision at that event. Every time you go to an event, you’ll always make a decision that transforms your life, and the way that you interact with other people. I’ll tell you when I do videos and test models or training at an event, I’m always a different person. I’m going to do a video tomorrow at the video in Chicago, and you’ll see how things will just happen.

I challenge you guys to make it to the next event. Do what you need to do. Ask yourself if it’s worth it. The answer is YES!
