So, before getting into this I want to mention that I've always been a fan of combining online and offline techniques to earn money as it has always proven to be an effective way to make money for me. I'm not by any means saying that using strictly online techniques don't work as they do though I like to be on the fence as I can work both sides instead of one so this is the way I prefer to operate. 

So, lets get into how I earned $5,470 over the past 14 days with my only investment being about 10 hours of my time (1 Full Day Of Work).

So, just like I do before starting any of my projects, I brainstorm on different methods and services that could be offered and sold to others and then make a plan on how to market this service so that I can reach my target audience. 

After a couple of hours of getting a plan on paper, I decided to target my Local market so when I contact a buyer or vise versa, the customer(s) will feel more comfortable working with me as I'm local and not someone who's far away in another state or country. 

Making a potential customer feel comfortable with you and making them trust in you and your service(s) is key to them working with you and letting your client(s) know that you're there when they need you and that you're not going anywhere will greatly increase your sales & profit.

So, to start you need to simply pick a type of business that you want to work with. For example you can choose a Restaurant, a Daycare Center, a Law Firm or even a Mobile Dog Grooming Company (Just Ideas). In my case I chose Restaurants as Restaurant owners depend on good reviews to stay in business and many Restaurant owners suffer from having bad reviews online. 

As most of us know, a happy customer will not leave a review while an unhappy customer will and being in a business that depends on good positive reviews will help you to make a lot more sales and targeting Restaurants I feel would be a great start for those who are wanting to follow what I've done.

So, after I decided to work with Restaurants, I built a simple 5 page website with my main page being the sales page and then an About Us, Contact Us and the usual pages that you have on a site. Since the site I have wasn't really built to make sales but more so up for reputation purposes when a customer asks for one, I didn't put a ton of time into creating it. 

Something simple, short, sweet & to the point is all you'll need. Okay, so here's the important part of this whole process: Sales Letters! Once I chose to target Restaurants, I gathered a list of roughly 350 local Restaurants (Local Meaning Within 35 Miles From Me) including their address. I then wrote up a sales letter and described the 2 different packages that I had available which were priced at $199 & $399. The services that were being offered within each package were services that are being offered on Fiverr (i.e. Facebook Fan Page Likes, Online Positive Reviews, CraigsList Postings). 

I gathered a list of various Fiverr Gigs that offered any type of online promotion and reviews and created two separate packages from these. All together, the $199 package costs me $20 to fulfill and the $399 package costs me $40 to fulfill so there's a large profit margin.

Now, I mentioned above the I wrote a sales letter. This sales letter was written with the intentions of reaching the owner of each restaurant and then convincing them to purchase one of my packages. So that others can see what I sent out to the Restaurants, here is a copy of my sales letter/pitch:

You may be asking yourself why you're reading this letter now and we're excited to tell you why. We've been working with a multitude of local restaurants and have assisted many in increasing their customer base and customer retention rate by providing affordable and effective Internet Marketing & Reputation Management packages and we thought that this type of a service would be of interest to you. With our service, you'll see an increase in activity on your Social Profiles such as your company Twitter & Facebook page and more importantly, an increase in positive reviews online from your restaurant which is great if you currently have no positive reviews or if you're looking to recover from negative reviews. For information on how our packages can help you to give your Restaurant the kick start that it needs to success and to review what our service(s) offer in detail, please refer to our available packages below.

Here you will go into detail in your package(s) and what the costs are. I wrote about a paragraph for each service though you can do this however you see fit.

That's it everyone!   This is the sales letter that I sent out to over 300 Restaurants and within 14 days of sending them all out, I've had interest from a multitude of different restaurants, I mean, for a minimum of $199, they can't afford to NOT try it!   In total I've sold a total of 8 $199 packages and 12 $399 packages resulting in $6,380 in sales with $5,740 of that being profit. The only other expense was printing that many letters and then the

stamps to send them out though these costs are nominal when considering the return on the investment. 

As I always say, when looking for ways to make money, think outside of the box and be creative. I'm a strong and firm believer in finding needs and wants that consumers or business owners want and finding a way to provide that need whether it be a product or service and making a profit on it and with this idea and already proven method, anybody who puts this in action will be successful. An investment of $199 or $399 is nothing to a business and if you can get your service(s) in front of enough businesses with a compelling sales letter, I have no doubt that you can be successful with this as well.
