By mounting shelving, stackboxes and storage units on wheeled carriages that travel onrails, Spacesaver Modular Mobile Storage Systems eliminate the need for multiple �xedaisles, freeing valuable �oor space for other more productive uses.

Standar d Carriage Lengths For mechanical assist, themaximum length of Spacesaver Modular MobileStorage System carriages is 15 feet (4.5m). For manual,the maximum length is 9 feet (2.7m). System widthswill allow up to six movable carriages.

Flexible Rail Options Spacesaver Modular MobileStorage Systems are available with two extruded railoptions. Shown on the left is a levelable rail withmodular �oor and ramp that includes in-rail anti-tipdevices. Shown on the right is a low-pro�le, �oorlessrail that provides additional system height clearance.

Modular Rail Design The system’s modular rail design isengineered to be placed directly on top of existing�oors. To insure a proper match with its environment,the system’s modular �oor can be installed using virtually any type of �oor covering.

Load Carrying Capacity Each Modular Storage Systemcarriage has a load capacity of 700 lb. (1,050 kg.) perlinear foot (meter). Your local Area Contractor canprovide weight analyses and o�er structural strategiesto accommodate system �oor loads.

Inter nal Support Structure Each Modular StorageSystem carriage is constructed using a cross-bracingsystem that insures the framework is square andrigid, without compromising its versatility.

Steel Wheels The carriage’s 3” center �ange guidancewheels are fabricated out of steel and precision-machined for enhanced strength and system life.

Anti-T ip Pr otection Standard in-rail anti-tip devicesare designed to provide an extra measure of systemstability and safety. Their design enables rails, car-riages and shelving to be tied together as an integralunit.

Car riage Locking Pin The mechanical assist system isdesigned with a carriage locking pin located in thehandle. If desired, this pin can be used to lock anopen range in place while that aisle is in use, pre-venting carriage movement and enhancing usersafety.

Chain T ensioner A through-panel chain tensionerallows for chain adjustment without removing eitherthe system’s face panel or media from its shelving.

Enclosed System Components The mechanical assistchain and its related drive assembly are fullyenclosed behind the face panel for a smooth, aes-thetically pleasing appearance.

Broad Range Of Storage Accessories The Modular Storage System’s unique, multi-functionslotted shelving design accommodates �le dividers, bin dividers and divider rods, aswell as a full range of shelving options and accessories which can be customized tomeet your speci�c storage requirements.

Easy Assembly No nuts or bolts are needed to erect these shelving units. They arequickly installed, and if necessary, expanded or relocated.

Shelving Construction For added strength, Spacesaver shelving is fabricated from cold-rolled steel with gauge thickness that meets or exceeds all U.S. Standards. Shelvingunits are also extensively reinforced for increased rigidity, enabling them to supportgreater shelf loads.

Design Aesthetics Spacesaver Modular Mobile Storage Systems are attractive additionsto any décor. All shelving features a quality, powder-coat paint �nish that resists abrasion.A variety of colors are available to match any taste.

Face Panels In addition to standard laminates, Spacesaver Modular Mobile StorageSystems are o�ered in an extensive range of colors and �nishes, including high-pressureand �re-retardant laminates. Other special �nishes are also available.
