About Michel GondryMichel Gondry was born on the 8th of May 1963 in Versailles, France. He started as a filmmaker by making a music video for the band Oui Oui, who he was the drummer for, at the time.

His style of music videos caught the attention of The music artist Bjork, who asked him direct the video for her song ‘’Human Behaviour’’. Currently he also now makes films as well music videos; he makes music videos for a range of genres.

Michel’s video for Lucas Secon’s Lucas with the Lid Off was nominated in the Best Music Video (short form) category, along with Gondry’s other music video with Sinead O’Connor for Fire on Babylon. All Spike Jonze, David Fincher & Gondry is representative of the influx of music video directors into feature film.
