TARGET AUDIENCE
RESEARCH
+ Simple functional interface+ Cart profiles+ Twitter feeds+ Recommendations based on location
_ Extremely limited database_ Mostly a promotion tool for the Food Network’s Eat Street _ Measurements are in metric_ Slow browsing
REAEARCH
+ Has a unique interface
_ Small NYC database focuses on West Coast food trucks_ Awkward navigation_ Unstable_ No ability to favorite trucks_ Map defaults to 40+ mile radius view
REAEARCH
+ Simple, easy-to-navigate interface
_ No ability to favorite trucks_ Small NYC database focuses on food trucks in many cities_ “Near Me” function only lets you pick from a list of cuisines and doesn’t just show you a map of trucks within a small radius of your location_ App is slow and crashes often

ACCOMPLISHED
Successfully created a dynamic SQL database within the IOS Objective C platform.
Meaning... We can interact and retrieve any information from within the app.
This is key because without a functioning database there is no food truck finding, favoriting, location awareness etc.
Also, because we’re developing this as a native app, there will be no performance issues associated with Web-based apps.
FUTURE PLANS
Finish it!
Now that we have a functioning database we can continue adding trucks as well as building our interface as wrapper for it.
We need to give users the ability to modify the database by adding favorites and spotting new locations of trucks.
Plug in to Google Places API for reviews and converting Lat/Lng GPS coordinates to street names.
Android version? Why not...
