CONCLUSION There is enormous increase in the population of
India which is disproportionate to the number of jobs created leading to unemployment.
Our education has its own irreparable defects and does not prepare the minds of young generation to become self-employed
Even though youngsters of today are now opening up to the prospect of self employment and entrepreneurship.
Our Government introduced several employment generating schemes and programmes over the years but in the absence of proper implementation and monitoring have failed to achieve the required targets.
SUGGESTIONSThe remedial measures for reducing unemployment may lay greater emphasis on
Creation of opportunities for self -employment,
Augmentation of productivity and building up of durable productive assets.
Controlling population growth and creating new job opportunities.
Improve education standards. Government should bring in
reform measures and accelerated the pace of privatization in the industry.
LEARNING'S We should keep the questions simple and short so
people don’t loose interest in the questionnaire.
The number of questions must be 10-15 at max as large number of question will make less number of people participate in survey.
The objective of survey must be defined beforehand to eliminate Unneeded questions in questionnaire.
Writing style should be conversational, yet concise and accurate and appropriate to the target audience
The wording should be kept simple and meaning clear: no technical or specialized words.
