iTTi, the Innovation & Technology Trends Institute, is the independent research source for all those corporate leaders looking for objective opinion and advice on business advancement through technology, mainly business information technology. iTTi aims to foster directors and executives’ awareness on their accountability and advocacy for key information, and related technology, assets. iTTi focuses on analyzing the most significant trends regarding the application and use of technology, and its consequences, but primarily on analyzing how organizations make decisions on -i.e., govern- such issues. At the same time, iTTi helps technology leaders in becoming business boosters capable of increasing business growth through improved technology contribution.

As a natural derivative of its research activity, iTTi provides strategic advice, in the form of boutique consultancy, to those individuals concerned with the contribution given by the use of IT to their businesses and willing to solve any issue identified regarding the following, non-comprehensive, list of topics: the decision-making process on the use of IT; IT investment management issues; business value realization issues; business-IT synchronization issues; enterprise IT-related risk issues; IT maturity & lack of IT performance issues; IT sourcing issues; corporate communication concerns; cultural change management issues; trends watching concerns; etc.

Executive Training
Key complement of its research and advisory services, iTTi offers a series of educational activities oriented to train an executive audience willing to go further in its IT savvy and in the way they currently look at how their organizations are using technology. Such services could, at the end, adopt the format of a graduate course (i.e., a master course), part of which iTTi, in partnership with UDIMA (Madrid Open University, www.udima.es) has put into effect in the form of an Information Assurance program. The program covers a series of executive on-line courses on Information Systems Control and Audit, Information Security Management and Corporate Governance of Information Technology. This latter is also being offered in collaboration with ATI (Spanish IT Practitioners Association, www.ati.es).

Community Building
Facilitating networking is in the very heart of iTTi, both, among members of The iTTi Community and among former iTTi training attendants and other fellows. A calendar of events will be appropriately and independently announced. iTTi maintains also an active participation in third-party events as well as in several professional associations’ boards and industry forums. This responds to the think tank’s philosophy of sharing knowledge and spreading the voice of the use of IT as the actual growth booster in today’s tough times; and obviously, coping with the so-called IT consequences. Those events will also permit to keep you all up to date with the most significant trends on IT accountability for the benefit of your organizations.
