HISTORY ITC was incorporated on August 24,1910 In 1975 through its acquisition of a hotel in Chennai In 1979 it entered into manufacturing paperboards, packaging &
printing business. In 1990 ITC set up the Agri Business Division for export of agri-
commodities based on partnership with farmers In 2000, ITC launched a line of greeting cards under the brand
name ‘Expressions’. In 2000, it entered in lifestyle retailing business EG :JOHN
PLAYERS IN 2002 ITC entered food business its product line in this segment
consist of brands ‘Aashirvaad atta’, ‘Candyman’, ‘Sunfeast’ & ‘Bingo!’.
In 2002 it entered in marketing of Agarbattis & matches, creating brands like Mangaldeep, Spriha, Aim Metro and so on.
IN 2007 ITC created brands Essenza Di Wills, a product line of fragrances & body care product.

In 1964 it established an overseas office at Beirut, Lebanon to tap the export market.

Currently MRF exports tyres to over 65 countries including America, Europe, Middle East, Japan, and Pacific region.
PRODUCTS Tyres - It manufactures various tyres for passenger cars, two-wheelers, trucks, buses, tractors, light commercial vehicles and off the road tyres.
Conveyor belts - It manufactures conveyor belts with wide range of grades.
