IPC are an ever growing company specializing in just about every type of magazine. From Horses, to Cycling to Music, IPC are always looking to expand the company. Emphasizing on the size of the magazine, IPC Media were previously sold for a total of £1.15bn, the biggest magazine transaction to date. IPC operate in the UK, they previously spent 30 years in the King’s Reach Tower but as of May 2004 have moved into a brand new building located next to Tate Modern. Although the IPC operate in the UK, they publish 21 international editions worldwide, in 16 different countries. IPC Media’s biggest music magazine is NME. The magazine is considered the most unique of it’s kind, reaching over one million music fans every week. On top of the magazines success, IPC also run a number of different services including NMETV, NME Radio, live events and more.
