Introducing the NSPCC Brighton & Hove Business Group The NSPCC Brighton & Hove Business Group has been created to harness the enormous goodwill that exists amongst the region’s business community towards the charity. Its aim is to develop a strong and vibrant network of business supporters to raise funds for NSPCC services that will directly benefit vulnerable local children and young people. The money this group raises will protect children from abuse and neglect. Voluntary donations made to the group will help fund vital services operated by the NSPCC. The group is committed to: Developing an influential business supporters’ network Co-ordinating corporate fundraising efforts Growing the group’s membership through advocacy .• Promoting the NSPCC’s ‘Cruelty to children must stop. What is the NSPCC’s vision?To have a society where all children are safe, loved and can fulfil their true potential. That includes children in the Brighton and Hove areas too!What will the main aim of the group be?• To raise funds to help protect children (by setting an on-going annual financial target)• To harness the power of networking to involve others• To secure local publicity through business activity• To recruit committed business supporters who care about making a difference• To involve reputable companies who will want to work in partnership with the NSPCC to enhance their own businesses too.
