GB Canoeing had a problem…
• In 2008, GB Canoe Sprint only yielded 2 medals at Beijing Olympics from 1 person. Things needed to improve!
• 2009 Mission statement:“To maximise funding, resources & facilities in a performance environment & culture that supports athletes to optimise their canoeing potential, & sustains long term paddler development”
• We needed to maximise the return on the funding being invested into GB Canoeing. The currency our investors want is medals!

are GROWING• Let go of the need to control the ‘external’
events• Learn to control your ‘internal’ world and
choose better responses• ALWAYS focus on what you want, NOT what
