It is the logical organization of the document with important hypertext extensions. It is the language which is used for designing the webpage with text and graphics.

Text used to link the webpage. Highlighting the text either by underlining

or using colors. Language which is medium of

communication.

Meaning of HTML

Initially, it was known as ‘GML’ (General markup language) but later on it was standardized by ISO (International standard organization) and called SGML. Then 1986, Tim Bemer in European laboratories develop HTML.
