Google trends show that there is a huge following for infographics in the last five years. That’s because infographics are a mix of images and information. This information comes in a very easy to digest format and interests the reader.

Here are three ways you could harness the power of visuals and grab attention:

Customer Photos – Curate them

Real photos of real people move people. Well, to collect such photos you can ask your present customers to submit their photos or you could even create a hash tag to collect the pictures.

Real photos look more appealing and credible than those corporate logos.

Talk the way your community talks

This is very important. Social media language is not as formal as the one you use inpress release. So, you could and should use the jargons or acronyms that are popular with your community. If you have ever seen the twitter page of Lego toys, you would find hash tags or shorthand language like AFOL or SPUA used so much and everyone accepts it. (AFOL – adult friends of Lego, SPUA –special part used again.

Get in your colors

Whatever be your business’s signature color, you do use it in the logo, letter heads and other forms of corporate stationery. Do use it in the photos as well when you post on social media. We all understand the importance of color and so chose them very wisely for our business. Color communicates your belief with which you startedthe business. Now, strengthen it with using it in logos, stationery and every single image you post on social media.
