Gadgets Gifts - Under $35

If you want to give a thoughtful gift, why not give something useful?

I have several items that make life easier, are under $35 and are good for both men and women.

These items make great birthday, holiday and housewarming gifts.

This is one of those tools that is indespensible around the house. Whether it is for a man or a woman,

anyone will find this cordless screwdriver handy for small repairs, tightening, loosening screws,

putting together IKEA furniture, etc. This is the perfect gift item because it is not something that most

people buy for themselves AND it is under $35.

Tired of boiling tea on the stove? An electric tea kettle is easy to use, faster, and a no-brainer with the

auto shut off. It is stylish and does the job without the hassle for someone who makes tea on a

regular basis.

There are so many electric tea kettles on the market. The one I use is the $35 Hamilton Beach 10-

Cup Stainless Steel Electric Kettle, but my mom has the Cuisinart KUA-17 1-3/4-Quart Cordless

Automatic Electric Kettle at just about $60 and she swears by it.

Either way, gift an electic tea kettle for someone you love, so they can forget about waiting for the old

tea kettle on the stove and instead, they can whip up some hot water in no time with one of these.

With all the talk, nowadays, about how horrible it is to use toxic pesticides in your yard, a more ethical

way to get rid of nasty weeds is to pull them by hand. If you don't feel like breaking your back, or you

are just plain lazy, you need one of these.

I was shocked at how easy it was to go after weeds with this tool. I might even describe it as fun, but

don't tell my husband, that, or he will stop bringing me iced tea when I'm out there sweating it!

The Fiskars weeder makes a great gift, at just about $35, for the avid gardener, the individual

inundated with weeds, or anyone who is up for the next new thing.

This happens to be the easiest can opener I have ever used. You just place the can under the guide

bar and press down on the top lever. It actually perforates the lid so it is removable. It allows the lid to

be re-sealable, which is great for the 1/2 can serving of dog food for my pup.

The lid pops right off and it does NOT leave sharp edges. I open 3 cans of dog food per day with this

handy piece of machinery, and because there is no blade, I don't have to worry about a dirty blade

dipping into my cans of human food, too.

The Hamilton Beach can opener doesn't require cleaning or skill. It is one of my best friends in the

kitchen, and at under $30, it makes an excellent gift for someone who is still, sadly, cranking the old

fashioned unit.

I love that this device makes it so much easier to grab and blend anything right in the pot, bowl or

pitcher. It is great for soups, sauces, drinks, etc. I think the coolest feature is that it comes in a variety

of really pretty colors like pink, light blue and green. These kitchen tools are super useful and fit right

into the budget at their under $30 price point.

When there's lots of cutting to do, there's a great tool to do that cutting for you! Fabric, plastic,

cardboard - you name it, these Black and Decker Power Scissors will cut through it and save you the

normal elbow grease and repetitive motion.

At under $20, these make a great gift and an excellent stocking stuffer, too!

If you want to spend a little more, Skil also makes a great power cutter, with a little rotary wheel

reminiscent of their "manlier" full sized tools and come in at under $40.

This is a great novelty gift for the NFL Football fan. You can make toast with your favorite teams logo

design on it! Click Here to Fine Out More About Birthstones and Birthstone Jewelry
