Proposal: The main power

consumption problem of plastic injection molding machine is the hydraulic system. To improve the efficiency of hydraulic system is the keypoint of injector power saving to achieve global environmental protection demand.

In the quantitative pump hydraulic system, constant speed motor to provide aconstant flow rate, the excess return of hydraulic fluid through the relief valve,this process is known as high-pressure throttling. According to statistics fromthe energy loss caused by high-pressure cutting up to 36% -68%. Therefore, toreduce the high-pressure throttling losses, improve power efficiency, powersaving hydraulic drive system has become the development direction.

High response AC synchronism servo electronics machinery drive (PMmotor) quantitative pump system to improve the defect of slow speedresponse that generic inveter to adjust RPM of hydraulic pump. In themeanwhile, electronic characteristic of PM motor has been enhanced tobe high efficiency, especially during low speed operation. Efficiency of PMmotor is higher than induction motor about 30~40%.

Linearity of electronic and machinery is changed by the RPM control flowdirectly is better than flow regulator as well as pressure ratio regulator. Errorand change rates are less than 0.5%. Hydraulic pressure is controlled by PIDoption card calculation. Pressure change rate is able to be closed to 1 bar.Electronic and machinery is in slow speed condition during pack phase andonly compensates to hydraulic pump to leakage inside without throttle loss.The flow lost could be reduced as maximization during pack and standbyphases. As for products which request long term of pack and cooling phases.Power saving rate is able to achieve 70%.

Efficiency has been enhanced because ofPM motor electrical characteristics,especially at low speed and is higher thanInduction motors about 30 ~ 40%. PMMOTOR adopts a permanent magnet rotorstructure and low inertia of the rotor incooperation with the speed range andgood dynamic response characteristics ofacceleration and deceleration. RPM ischanged by the system of flow request, thereaction rate is able to achieve to 40ms orless.

The advantages of our hydraulic pump system

1. Power saving: According to the different products can save 30 to 70% of the power consumption, the cooling time, high-pressure with low-speed operation and pack time are longer can save power more obviously.

2. Environmental protection: Oil temperature will be very low. Oil usage can be reduced to margin against throttle way. Cooling water supply also can be cut down and extend the life of hydraulic oil life.

3. High precise: Speed response is very fast and linearity error rate is in 0.5%. Comparatively speaking, reproduction quality will be high as well as decrease defective rate.
