There is substantial energy stored in the heating medium (water / steam / heat exchanger) that can be extracted and used during a “hold-off” period without any substantial loss of output.
Since the burner can generate heat faster than it can be extracted, the burner also generates more heat than what can be extracted. The results are: burner cycles and an unchanging space temperature.

• The Fuel Economizer takes advantage of the predicament that a building’s boiler is sized to provide heat to the entire structure on the coldest day of the year, making it oversized for all other heating requirements. Statistically, this means the boiler is oversized and inefficient over 95% of the time that is called upon to provide heat.
• The Fuel Economizer is a computer-based device that gets installed on your existing furnace or boiler improving its efficiency and allowing you to save fuel, save money and reduce your carbon footprint. It works with oil, propane, and natural gas burners.
• The savings are normally between 12% and 18%. We guarantee savings to be at least 10% over a 12 month period commencing on the date of installation or we will remove the device and refund your money. In addition, the product is warranted for 15 years against manufacturer's defects. This 10/15 guarantee simply means you cannot lose.
