General information

• Ekobustas was found in 1998 with the partnership with German company. It is family owned business.

• We exported mainly to Germany, but soon expanded to other countries.

• We have entered Iceland and Norway in 2007.

• About 80% of our production is exported.

• Our main focus is the best possible quality, work with customized projects and communication with our customers.

• Ekobustas factory is situated in Panevezys, 140 km away from Lithuania capital Vilnius. Both regional ports Klaipeda (Lithuania) and Riga (Latvia) are easily accessible.

• Panevezys is a perfect location for exporting:

- cross-national road VIA Baltica goes through Panevezys,

- three main airports around: Vilnius (Lithuania), Kaunas (Lithuania) and Riga (Latvia).

Production

• Ekobustas has 1400 m2 working area.

• We produce custom wooden-frame panel houses according to our customer’s plans.

• We have experience in building residential, commercial, passive, holiday and mobile houses.

• Fully custom traditional country styling options are available.

• Ekobustas has working experience in 6 different countries:

- Lithuania,

- Germany,

- Iceland,

- Norway,

- France,

- Denmark.

Technology

• Absence of production lines allows our company to produce fully customized projects according to all our customers needs.

• Ekobustas follows strict standards and requirements for different wooden house walls technologies.

• We have developed five technology classes for easier choice on the requirements for the house:

- Passive house, 40+cm insulation (U-value: <0,10 W/m2K)

- Energy+ class, 35-30cm insulation (U-value: 0,13 W/m2K)

- Energy class, 30-25cm insulation (U-value: 0,16 W/m2K)

- Standard class, 25-20cm insulation (U-value: 0,19 W/m2K)

- Economy class, 20-15cm insulation (U-value: 0,22 W/m2K)

- Holiday class, 15-10cm insulation (U-value: 0,25 W/m2K)

Materials

• We use the highest quality CE (Conformité Européenne) certified materials from world known brands in our production.

• Only graded C16/C24 timber is used in the construction.

• Windows with Scandinavian certification are supplied on demand.

• Our houses are supplied with outside doors.

• Other supplementary materials, such as stairs, flooring, inside doors and other are also possible to be included.

Construction drawings

• Ekobustas provides construction drawings projection service for every our produced house.

• Construction drawings are used for house production and show how the house will be constructed.

• Full specification of the house is provided: used materials documentation with static calculations according to house altitude and location.

• House specification is adjusted to meet local standards (e.g. SINTEF/TEK10 and other in Norway).

• It usually takes up to 2-4 weeks to make house construction drawings.

Transportation

• We provide transportation services for our production.

• Standard 100 square meter house requires 2 trucks for transportation.

• Our large range of transportation suppliers are able to provide competitive pricing.

• The house is insured during the transportation.

Assembling

• We can also come to assemble the houses to their original locations.

• It is possible to start assembling even during the winter time.

• Clients provide crane, scaffoldings, electricity, lighting, waste container in the building site and accommodation for the assembling crew.

Get offer

• We can easily give our preliminary commercial offer in 3 working days, however, we need some information from you:

• good architectural drawings, preferably in AutoCAD (dwg),

• house materials description:

- insulation level in roof, exterior walls;

- type of windows;

- type of interior/exterior decoration;

- type of roof finishing;

- information about any additional materials.
