Editing the ImageShopping Rugs

Here is the image before editing. After analyzing the image, I decided that the brightness, contrast and saturation needed to be adjusted. The image is too dark, and the wide variety of colors needs to be further emphasized.

I used the selection brush tool to selected the whole image. Then I applied the UnsharpMask effect in order to reduce the visible pixilation in the image.

I then wanted to adjust the Hues and Saturation in the photo. To do this, I went to Enhance- Adjust Color- Adjust Hue/Saturation.

AS the prominent color is red, I selected the color red and adjusted its hue and saturation. I increased both the hue and saturation greatly, and the brightness of the image increasedautomatically.

I wanted to further brighten the photo. To do this, I went to Enhance- Adjust Lighting- Brightness/Contrast

Finally, I used the selection brush tool to select the whole photograph. I then put the‘Sharp’ Effect on the image to sharpen the colors and contrast.

There are noticeable differences between both images. This image is much brighter, and the color contrast and brightness is significantly greater.
