Designs Evaluation

After looking at my four designs, I can say that I did a good job because I produced the base of

them always thinking if it was possible to reproduce my basic design in reality. For all the

video’s layout I already wrote the fonts and sizes that I would have put in future on iMovie. All

design are varied, however, next time I will need to take in consideration the little parts,

which I think I didn’t specify enough to be understood by other people. However, I already

chose what design I will use to create my video.

Evaluation of Chosen Design

After watching and evaluating carefully all designs, as I said before, I chose to produce or

reproduce on iMovie, the rough copy of my design number three because, right from the start,

I liked the way the layout and the scenes stand out. It attracts attention very quickly to the

audience. Also the animations and the dialogue are very detailed and all shots are credible,

especially the last scenes with the music. I also like very much the story line, because it is very

effective and easy. Maybe next time I will need to include some images, to make it even more

effective, but, right now, I believe it is the best one I created.

Plan

Evaluation of Gantt Chart

I think that the way I made my Gantt Chart is clear and easy to understand. With this type of

plan, I think that I can be organized and, by looking at it, start working straightforward,

without spending precious time thinking on what to do. In Addition, it gives me an accurate

time of how much I need to take to make some things. Certainly it isn’t very detailed because

it tells me briefly what to do, but, for a detailed plan, I made a table below that specifies

everything, even the little particulars. I decided to change the time arrangements, at this point,

because I want to have more time for evaluating my video than to create it.

Evaluation of step-by-step plan

I think my plan was detailed enough because I specified everything, also the little unnecessary

details that could have been deleted or not mentioned. I think someone else could follow this

plan because, as I said before, it is very detailed and people can understand clearly what to do

and when to do it. The only thing that people won’t understand is design number 3 because

they don’t know what the design number will be. They won’t recognize the design until they

would see the finished video. I think I didn’t use all the resources that were available to me; I

only used the ones that I thought were necessary. Maybe next time I can use other programs

to improve my video and make it better in all the criteria of designing. As I wrote for the table

above, I decided to change the time or the creation of my design and add more time for the

evaluation of it.
