Who is David Fincher? David Fincher was born in 1962 in Denver, Colorado. Fincher is an American director and producer, mostly known for films, television series and music videos. He is most known for his signature that features in his work. It includes several single frames flashing on the screen, usually happens in the middle of a scene. Fincher is a huge impact on the media world, with his several awards including; back to back MTV music awards for best direction in1989 for his work in ‘’Express Yourself’’ and again in 1990 for ‘’Vogue’’ . He won two Grammy awards for best music video for ‘’Love is strong’’ in 1995 and ‘’Suit in Tie’’ in 2013, and finally three MTV video music awards for best direction.

His Music Video WorkHis work first stood out with his work with Madonna, ‘’Express Yourself’’ and ‘’Oh Father’’ etc.. Allowed Fincher to make his work and his signature style stand out, this allowed him to go to do more work in big films and feature television programmes. In the music video to ‘’Bop 'til you drop’’ by Rick Springfield, you can see what he tried to do with his movie Alien 3. It matches the pep of Rick Springfield’s song, but in a weird kind of way.

His background InformationFincher was born in 1962 in Denver, Colorado. Fincher was first employed at Korty Films as a production assistant, He moved up the ranks and became a visual effects producer, working on the animated Twice upon a Time (1983.)

He was hired by Industrial Light & Magic in 1983 as an assistant cameraman and matte photographer. Fincher began to then focus on music videos. He directed the video for 1986’s ‘’We Don’t Have To Take Our Clothes Off’’ which was the biggest commercial success for pop/R&B singer Jermaine Stewart., he then worked extensively with Madonna, directing videos for ‘’Express Yourself’’, ‘’Oh Father’’, ‘’Vogue’’ and ‘’Bird Girl’’
