David Carothers has more than 30 years of broad‐based experience in risk management, safety, human resources, business operations and is the co‐founder of Praxiom Risk Management.  Dave uses his depth of expertise to develop and deliver creative, cutting edge, pragmatic risk management and insurance solutions for Praxiom clients.  Dave  also  serves  as  a  managing  partner  and  risk  management consultant  for  The  Integrita  Group,  LLC  ‐‐  a  high  touch  risk management  consulting  firm  with  a  specialty  in  risk management support services for independent insurance agencies.  In this capacity, Dave  has  successfully  assisted  several  small  and  middle  market 

agencies with a vast range of services including leading and managing the build out and day to day operations of  a multi‐million dollar  commercial  risk management practice  for  a  Florida based start up agency.  In addition, he assisted in the design, construction, and delivery of the agency’s overall client value proposition across all agency functions.     Prior  to  founding Praxiom and The  Integrita Group, Dave served as  the Sr. Vice President of Risk Management for Advantec.  In this position, he was responsible for the management of all Advantec  insurance  relationships,  the  performance  of  Advantec’s  workers’  compensation program,  and  the  development  and  delivery  of  risk  management  consulting  services  to Advantec’s over 550 clients representing over 20,000 employees.    Dave has had significant experience at the national account level as a Corporate Risk Manager.  He served as Vice President of Human Resources and Administration for U.S. Aggregates and was the first Director of Risk Management for LifeStyle Furnishings International in High Point, NC.    Dave earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Baldwin‐Wallace College. He has  also  earned  recognition  as  a  Certified  Safety  Professional  from  the  Board  of  Certified Safety Professionals and as an Associate  in Risk Management from the  Insurance  Institute of America.  He is a licensed property/casualty agent.  Dave and his wife, Karen, have  three  children and  three grandchildren and  reside  in  Lithia, Florida.
