CutrinePlus LiquidCutrinePlus Liquid with copper ethanolamine complexes is a highly effective algaecide. Controls a broad range of algae in lakes, ponds, fish hatcheries, irrigation canals, anddrainage ditches. Effective on Hydrilla when combined with WeedtrineD or HarvesterLiquid. Cutrine Plus Liquid is hard water stable.
Far less corrosive than other common algaecides. Begins to work, immediately on contactto break down algae's cellular structure.
Controls Planktonic Algae in 1 to 2 days, Filamentous Algae in 3 to 4 days.
Early treatment when growth first appears will reduce the amount of Cutrineplus Liquid youwill need, for season long control. Early season treatment will also reduce the amount of dead growth.
Pond water clear as a bell!Control will last for several weeks to several months depending on type of algae and local conditions. Severalapplications will typically be required to maintain season long control on Planktonic and Filamentous Algae. Retreat asnew growth begins to appear. Allow 1 to 2 weeks between consecutive treatments.
Heavy, out of control growth may require more than one treatment or physical removal to gain control. Use underconditions of minimal water flow for best results. Apply early on the morning of a calm, sunny day with watertemperature of 60 degrees Fahrenheit or warmer. Contact time should be at least 3 hours. Bright sunlight will improveeffectiveness.
Use CutrinePlus Liquid to economically treat surface algae or the entire volume of a pond.
CutrinePlus Liquid is ideal for treating surface growth of Planktonic Algae and floating mats of Filamentous Algae. Inponds with little outflow, long term control of several months can be achieved on Filamentous and Planktonic Algae bytreating the entire pond volume.
Cutrineplus Liquid may be toxic to Trout if carbonate hardness of treated water is less than 50 ppm. Most surfacewaters exceed this limit and pose no threat. If in doubt, use the Water Hardness Test Strips. Do not use in watercontaining Koi or hybrid Goldfish.
To apply CutrinePlus Liquid, determine the volume of water to be treated in acreft. For Filamentous and PlanktonicAlgae, use 1 gallon of CutrinePlus Liquid per 1.5 acreft of treated water, for Chara, use 2 gallons of CutrinePlus Liquidper acreft. of treated water. Dilute with a minimum of 9 parts water. Spray uniformly over the water surface as a rain ofcoarse droplets. Contact with Filamentous Algae will be improved by breaking apart heavy surface mats beforeapplication.
For Hydrilla, use 10 gallons of WeedtrineD or 2 gallons of Harvester Liquid mixed with 3 gallons of Cutrine Plus Liquidper 1 acre to be treated. Dilute mixture with a minimum of 9 parts water and apply as a surface spray or by underwaterinjection. Use CygnetPlus liquid to increase penetration and contact.
Treat heavy infestations in sections of 1/3 to 1/2 of total algae volume. Allow 5 th 7 days before continuing to anuntreated section.
Water treated with CUTRINEPLUS Liquid has no water use restrictions.
