All business is for creating money and management of money. Profit is the very Soul of an organization. Brahma created the cosmos and with that an eternal organization has come into being. Within that organization he embedded two eternal values: Lakshmi (Goddess of Wealth) and Saraswati (Goddess of Knowledge). All knowledge is for money, and all money is for more knowledge.

continuous and ongoing improvement. Improving on improvement is the only goal.

4. Promotions: Creating highest customer attraction. Speak what you do and do what you speak.

5. Profits: Let the bottom line speak. Consistent and growing. Increasing shareholder value is the only goal.

The shareholders are stakeholders. A stake is an investment. And this investment seeks to have a ROI.

The Vedas and Upanishads say that the whole creation is made up of five basic elements called Panchabhutas or Panchatatvas. In the same way every modern organization is made up of five basic constituents or building blocks. These are the five pillars or 5 Ps of any modern organization.

All knowledge is for money, and all money is for more knowledge. There are two key people in any organization - CEO and CFO. The job of the CEO is to create more money and the job of the CFO is to retain and invest that money. Both require knowledge in their respective functions.

● Brahma created a Cosmic Organization and handed over to Vishnu for Sustenance, and to Shiva for Transformation.

● While inheriting, the two values - Lakshmi (Goddess of Wealth) and Saraswati (Goddess of Knowledge) started fighting with each other.

● Lakshmi started saying that she is greater than Saraswati. And Saraswati started showing that she is greater than Lakshmi.

● Lakshmi was needed for growth and prosperity. Saraswati was needed for knowledge and harmony.

Vishnu could retain both of them saying that with knowledge one can read and write. But without money one can not buy the tools of knowledge like books and pen required to gain that knowledge.

● People precede everything. New people create new values and new organizations.

● Are we exchanging products or services? Are we exchanging costs, profits or prices? Not really!! We are all exchanging values.

● What is a value? Customer perceives the value. Markets determine the price and we only add cost.

Competition? Only wrong values fight the right values. Only old values fight the new values. Dollar ($) is only an exchange for sharing values.

Enlightened Leadership gives rise to creation of new values. These values become the foundation of the culture of new organizations. New values create new organizations. The whole competition is that the old values fight the new values.

far greater challenge. Don't say “India Made”.● Even China and other countries are fast

approaching the services market.● India already lost the ground for manufacturing.● Reality bites. Let “Made in India” be a reality.

India should think of a holistic growth including Agriculture, Education, Manufacturing and Technology.

People with right attitude is a winning edge. Wrong is bigger than the right for the fault of the right (RA - 162%, WA - 177%).

● Intellectual Quotient (IQ) has been a thing of the past.

● World is now talking about Emotional Quotient (EQ). Management Gurus are now talking about Quality People.

● What is Spiritual Quotient (SQ) that I am talking about then?

SQ = IQ + EQ. People with pure mind and pure heart. People who are highly innovative and creative. People who are inspired and self-driven.

Physical, Intellectual, Emotional and Spiritual are not four different compartments. Body is Physical. Mind is Intellectual. Heart is Emotional. Mind should speak what the heart feels. And the body should do what the mind and heart say. Spirituality simply means that all these three - the body, mind and heart are in sync with each other. This oneness is our true Being. This is Spirituality.

Spiritual Quotient (SQ) is a sum of Intellectual Quotient (IQ) and Emotional Quotient (EQ). IQ means a mind without negative thoughts. EQ means a heart without negative emotions. SQ is nothing but our Happiness Quotient. Happy people give more productivity and better performance. Mathematically,

● People who are immensely happy. People who are emotionally healthy. SQ is our happiness quotient. Our real nature is Sachitananda.

● Albert Einstein says, “The most beautiful experience we can have is the mysterious. It is the fundamental emotion that stands at the cradle of true art and true science”. He also says, “Imagination is more important than knowledge”.

Our real nature is being a Sachitananda. Let the mind say what the heart feels. Happiness is the index of our Spiritual Quotient. Spiritual Quotient simply means the absence and dissolution of negative thoughts and negative emotions.

to study the mystery of the Pyramids.● At one place in the Pyramid there is an infinite

All businesses move in the above four phases. One has to continuously struggle to stay ahead and go beyond. This struggle is possible only through Innovation and Creativity. But ultimately the value called Business has to be sustainable. One has to always work out a sustainable framework. This sustainable framework is Innovation and Creativity, and continuous creation of Blue Oceans. Accelerating rate of returns should be the focus. But for some rare ones the very definition of Business and Profit may undergo a great change. They may try to look at things and life very differently.

It is a Transactional Leadership. Earlier it was being said that the profits lie at the top of the pyramid. Then they talked about profits at the bottom of the pyramid. But this is only a myth. Social Leadership is the second best step. It is looking beyond the Profit zone. This is social scaling up of the business. This is a Transnational Leadership. The whole web is a continuously growing network of people and organizations. It is a great opportunity for a social intelligence to leverage your business. The possibilities are infinite.
