Why open data
In recent years, efforts for a more open governance and administration in the public and private sector have increased. Emphasis is placed on transparency and accountability, the provision of services to citizens, entities and businesses through the distribution and utilization of open data.

The role of the crowdhackathon competitions is:
● To encourage dynamic people's interest in creating products and services for the economy and society in a participatory and collaborative way.
● To create appropriate conditions under which youth entrepreneurship can be developed, since the competition could result in a new team or company that will contribute to the economy of our country in the future.
● To create useful tools, innovative applications and high value-added methodologies so that they are developed and used by stakeholders, as the results will be free and open to everyone.
● To promote economic activity related to tourism through the innovative digital applications to be implemented.
