SPARK Won the LED Lighting Bid for the Longest Single Tunnel in China

Recently, Shenzhen Spark Optoelectronics S&T Co.,Ltd has won the bid of Zhejiang Zhuyong highway ZM-1 ZM-2 tender. This project will need17116pcs LED tunnel lights in total. SPARK will take the full responsibility to replace the original high pressure sodium lamp, including the supply, transportation, installation, adjustment, operation and the after-sales service.

Zhuyong Highway is a major high-express in Zhejiang Province,starting from Zhuji, passing through Dongyang, Panan,XianJu, to Yongjia, about 225km. It opened to traffic on 22th January, 2010, which shortens the distance between Hangzhou and Wenzhou to about 300km. 70% road of this highway is tunnel and bridge, with 54 tunnels and over 100 bridges, and the total length of the tunnels is 140km. Zhuyong Highway is one of the arterial line in the high express network of Zhejiang province, is part of the "Five Billion Projects" and the "Six Main Projects" supported by the government of Zhejiang Province. Due to the complex geographical conditions, Zhuyong high-express is the most complicated highway in Zhejiang province, so it has extremely strict requirement for the lighting condition inside the tunnel.

The purpose of lighting replacement for Zhuyong High-express is not only for energy saving, but also improving the lighting environment, that the illuminatio,brightness and uniformity inside the tunnel can reach a new level. With the rapid economic development of Zhejiang province, the logistics and transportation between Hangzhou and Wenzhou are highly developed.

There are enormous heavy-duty goods vehicles and cars drive back and forth on Zhuyong highway, which cause serious stains on the lamp due to the tail gas and oil smog. So it is very important to reduce the influence of accumulated stain on the lamp.
