The construction of a District Energy System seemed like a ‘no-brainer’ to the project developers at the Canadian city of Prince George. It would make use of a readily available resource to provide energy security for the downtown core, and provide environmental benefits in the process. But the community didn’t like the project. And they succeeded in getting it cancelled. The city called in PRMedia.
