Who were gaming's biggest winners in 2015?l Call of Duty: Black Ops ended a trend of declining sales in the series,
posting significantly better sales than the last two COD games. This was a big win for Activision.
l l EA, Take Two, Time Warner, and Bethesda made big strides, as well.
Among the major third party publishers, Ubisoft had the weakest year in terms of big releases.
l l Multi-platform games were by far the strongest performers. Not a
single platform exclusive title published by Sony, Microsoft, or Nintendo made the North American top-10 across 2015.
l l In addition to strong sales from big gaming franchises, publishers
benefited from increased digital content sales.
