Large high-potential property portfolio in Manitoba.
Callinex uses a comprehensive, multi-disciplined approach to exploration. Our method consists of exhaustive data collection, followed by digital model-building to create a comprehensive understanding of the property. It is through this method that the Callinex exploration team is able to create high-quality exploration targets that lead to exploration success.
The Gossan Hill gold property is located between the Flin Flon and Snow Lake Camps
Gold occurrences were observed on a faulted contact zone between two different rock types.
Drilling in 2011 intersected a shear zone bearing gold mineralization.
Gold bearing mineralization was intersected with widths and grades as high as 4.60 g/t over 23 m.
An MMI geochemical survey outlined several strong anomalies along the projected shear zone.
The Pine Bay property is the host of several known mineral deposits.
Historical drilling and underground sampling at the Pine Bay deposit has outlined a known structure of VMS copper mineralization.
NON 43-101 compliant reserves calculated by previous operators in 1970 estimated that the known deposit contained 667,900 tons grading 3.90% copper at a cutoff grade of 2.0% Cu, 783,000 tons grading 3.54% Cu at a cutoff grade of 1.5% Cu, and 1,113,200 tons grading 2.76% Cu at a cutoff grade of 1.0% Cu.
Down-Hole Pulse-EM surveys conducted by Callinex have isolated a geophysical target further along strike from the known mineralization that could represent an extension of the known deposit.
The conductive EM targets at Sneath Lake, isolated by airborne VTEM survey, occur between 0 and 350 metres. The most recent VMS discovery in the Snow Lake camp – Lalor Lake – was intersected below 500 meters (below the known EM responses generated by VTEM). Callinex’s deep 3D inversion of the magnetic data from the airborne survey indicates magnetic trends that are different from those defined by the shallower EM responses. Ground-based deep penetrating Pulse-EM surveys are currently underway to test these new trends and define EM targets below 350 metres.
