Introduction This brief presentation is designed to help you understand the possible benefits of business mentoring to you and your practice. It also provides some defintion to the differences between mentoring, advising, coaching and consulting.

Also referred to as the Protégé, the process of pairing mentor and mentee begins with the latter realising a need
Definition
In Greek mythology, Mentor was a friend
and trusted counselor of Odysseus.
When Odysseus left for the Trojan War he
placed Mentor in charge of his son
Telemachus and of his palace.
