Selection of the location: - For the management it is important to search out for the location that can be

suitable for the business. For the selection of the building it needs to be considered that the 35,000 square

metres as the area for the perfect setup.

Permission from the authorities of the land: - the second step is to take the permission from the authority

that is been chosen for the set up of the infrastructure ( Murch, 2001).

Procurement: - it is the development of the warehouse where the company can store the material for

building the new infrastructure for the expansion.

Development in context of infrastructure: - as per the requirement of the company the

construction should be started for the development of the new warehouse that can be beneficial for the

company in the future process.

Development of the utility services: - the development of the new technology of the

communication should be dome for the benefit of the employees of the company. The new

infrastructure should be facilitated with a LAN connection for the better linkage between the branch of

the company.

Testing: - once all the above development has been over the company should test whether the

implementation is been done in a better way. In this step the analysis of the whole infrastructure has been

done.

Reviewing: - as per the planning of the company in this step there is a comparison of the actual results

with the planned one so that the company can take the corrective action for the improvement

(Haynes, 2002).

Shifting: - After completion of the above task the management of the company should proceed to shift all

the material to the new infrastructure developed. As per the requirement of the company the project

management process can be designed in the following manner as given some of the measures are –

manager must take proper information about every consignment so that it ensures the availability of

remaining stock and that can be used at that time when there is unavailability of stock (Project management

institute, 2004).

The above steps have discussed all the major aspects of the company. Below discussed are the

general aspects that are required while implementing any plan. Company is concerned with

various issues. To understand the situations of market, to analyze the circumstances and competition,

company has to make several strategies and also it needs to do study of various aspects also. The

competition prevailing in the market shows the sustainability of any product (Mishra, 2009). If the

company wishes to expand its directions, it is required for the company to focus on various

feasibility aspects likewise financial, resource and market feasibility. The case has discussed the

market condition which shows the sustainability in the competitive market. Furthermore, it has also

discussed how to deal with the competitors and how to evaluate the importance of their policies (Kerzner,

n.d).

Profit achievement is the main aim of every company. In order to get more and more profit company sells

its products in the market and sometimes company brings a range of products to customers. This will

help the company to mark more products in the existing product line. The demand of any product is

affected by the changing habits of the customers. As thecompany is increasing more products in its

existing product line, it requires huge space to store the products in warehouse. This helps the company to

make the goods available to the customers so that the company can attract and retain the customers. The

company can expand its operations by providing different range of products and also it can develop the

brand image of the company. This gives a tough competition to other marketers (RS Pressman and

associates, 2005). Organization deals with various issues related to government likewise fiscal

policies, monetary policies and various commercial policies. The project manager must have the

knowledge how to implement these policies in related issues (Brophy, 2002). To manage all the tasks of

the organization, manager is only responsible to manage various issues as effectively as these increases the

growth opportunities of the company (Brophy, 2002).

The essential requirement in completing any project is that, the manager must have the capability to

manage all the resources efficiently. So that the project can be started with well furnished ideas and while

implementing all the ideas in the project, resources can be allocated to them according to the requirements.

The manager and the company can put all these ideas at the time when company wishes to expand its

operations in different areas. Before initiating any work, it is required to make proper schedule of all the

activities and all the activities must be managed by the manager in a sequencing order. To start a new

activity, it is first compulsory to finish the ongoing activity so that it avoids coincide. An

example can be taken from this case as it shows that the project manager identifies all the

activities which start after finishing the first task (Bakliwal.2011).

Resources are very scare in nature. To avoid the wastage of resources and to use them in an optimum way

it is required for the manager to pay attention toward the budget limit. Company always allots budget for

each project, and it is the keen responsibility of the manager to complete the project in the given budget.

The case shows an example that the manger of Waston Ltd. Has discussed all the activities with the

management so that they can allot the resources and time to each activity. Proper planning must be there

while allocating cost to each activity. When it comes to quality, first priority is always given to cost.

Project manager must take care about the standards and quality (Brophy, 2002). The project manager

must have the quality to deal with the risk factor. To minimize the risk element in any project, it is the

responsibility of the project manager to manage the risk in a proper way so that the project does not get

affected by the risk. An example can be taken from the case. The project manager has faced a problem in

supply but he must be ready with another alternative so that the whole project does not get delayed. In

every organization, the project manager must have the quality to recruit best candidate among alternatives

so as to make best staff. This helps in completing the task within the time period (Rastogi. 2010). The case

is about a company that deals in auto parts. Organizational awareness helps the managers to get the

information about the needs and requirements. To achieve the goals of the organization, managers must

make formal and informal structures so as to get all the required aspects with regards to achievement of the

goals. The terms of the market is more competitive plans accordingly (Brophy, 2004).
